Hidden water leaks are often stressful and have potentially serious consequences.

Some plumbing leaks, like a burst pipe or a crack in the pool, are easy to spot the moment the damage happens, but slow leaks may be quietly dripping water underneath slabs, beneath flooring, or behind drywall for days, weeks, or months before symptoms are evident.

Signs you may have a water leak include:

  1. An abnormally high water bill

  2. Soggy soil when there’s been no rain for days

  3. Moist or discolored drywall and/or warped flooring

  4. Ponding inside or outside the house

  5. A musty smell around plumbing fixtures

  6. A strange dripping or fizzing noise from a source you can’t locate

  7. A water meter that keeps running even when you’re not using any water

  8. A pool that won’t fill to the desired level

Should you spot any of these signs, don’t worry, we can help you zero in on the leak source. In many cases, aging plumbing or shifting soil and foundations may cause more than one leak area. We use sophisticated sound and thermal imaging equipment to pinpoint potential leak areas without having to disturb your property.

Once the leak source(s) have been found, we can discuss repair options with you. Whenever possible, we’ll recommend isolated spot repairs to broken pipes and fittings, unless your plumbing system is aging and a full line replacement makes more sense. In our region, some plumbing systems can be more than a century old. Modern PEX pipes are more durable and have a longer life expectancy than traditional copper plumbing.

Your solution begins with a call to one of our customer service representatives. We can discuss your specific needs and provide you with a free estimate before we dispatch our technicians to your location.

Hidden water leaks can have serious consequences both in property damage as well as high water bills.

I appreciated their technical ability, state of the art equipment, and the fact that they took the time to keep me informed along the way and explain to me what was happening and why.
